General questions

Will the fish look exactly like the photo?

Unless a listing says WYSIWYG, photos may represent the strain or line, not the exact fish. Color, size, and pattern can vary naturally.

Can I choose male or female?

If the listing allows male/female selection, choose the option before checkout. Otherwise, fish may be sold as listed or as a mixed group.

How old are the guppies?

Most guppies are shipped at a healthy juvenile or young adult size. Add your exact age/size range for each listing.

Are the fish quarantined?

Add your exact quarantine process here. A professional answer should mention observation, feeding, and no shipping of weak or sick fish.

Do you ship in winter?

Winter shipping may be available with heat packs and weather review. Orders may be delayed during unsafe temperatures.

Do you offer live arrival guarantee?

Yes, if the customer follows the DOA Policy and submits required proof within the claim window.

How long until guppies breed?

Healthy young adult guppies may breed quickly when kept in stable water with proper male/female ratio.

Can guppies live with other fish?

Yes, but avoid aggressive fish and fin nippers. Peaceful community fish are usually better.

What should I do when tracking is delayed?

Monitor tracking closely and contact the carrier. Also contact HiGuppy support with your order number.

Should I feed fish on arrival day?

Feed lightly or wait until they settle. Avoid heavy feeding immediately after shipping.
