Breeder-led · Retail & wholesale

Breeder-led guppies, built around healthy fish.

HiGuppy grows from the breeding tank outward: selective guppy lines, daily observation, careful packing, and practical support before and after arrival. We serve home aquarists, breeders, stores, and wholesale partners from a growing breeding network in Vietnam.

Our story

From breeding tanks to a wider guppy network.

HiGuppy began with selective guppy breeding and a simple standard: raise fish we would be comfortable keeping in our own aquariums. As demand grew, the operation expanded across multiple breeding facilities so more lines could be maintained and different groups could be grown in dedicated systems.

That larger network now supports both retail listings and wholesale conversations. The scale may change from one order to another, but the practical questions stay the same: Is the fish ready? Is the route appropriate? Does the buyer understand the listing, receiving plan, and applicable live-arrival terms?

We would rather hold a fish back than treat speed as the only priority. Availability can change because these are live animals, so current product listings and direct wholesale confirmation remain the source for what is actually ready to move.

How we work

Fish readiness connects breeding to delivery.

Good live-fish ecommerce starts before checkout. Our workflow links breeding, observation, listing context, packing, and receiving guidance.

01

Breed & maintain lines

We work with guppy lines for color, form, vigor, and consistency while recognizing that living fish naturally vary.

02

Observe before selection

Activity, appetite, fin condition, and overall readiness are reviewed before fish are selected for an order.

03

Match listing to reality

Customers should use the current product title, format, stock status, and photo notes rather than assume every listing is identical.

04

Pack for the route

Packing and dispatch planning consider the destination, route, weather, and the live-arrival policy that applies to the order.

Clear expectations

What a HiGuppy product page should tell you.

Live animals are not static inventory. That is why product context matters as much as a beautiful photo.

Exact formatLook at the current product title and pack format for the fish or group attached to that listing.
Photo contextSome images are representative. When the exact individual is not shown, the listing should say so clearly.
Current availabilityRetail stock and reference-catalog enquiries are separate. Quote-only references require confirmation before purchase.
Policy linksShipping, live-arrival/DOA, packing, and acclimation information should be reviewed before delivery day.

Does HiGuppy breed its own guppies?

HiGuppy is breeder-led and works across multiple breeding facilities to maintain guppy lines for retail and wholesale supply. Fish still vary as living animals, so current listing details remain important.

Can stores, breeders, and importers buy wholesale?

Yes. Wholesale and recurring supply enquiries are welcome. Current strain availability, quantity, destination, route, and timing are reviewed before a quote is confirmed.

How do you decide when fish are ready to ship?

Fish are observed for normal swimming, appetite, fin condition, and overall body condition before packing. Fish that are not considered ready can be held back.

Are all product photos the exact fish I will receive?

No. Some product images are representative. The product page should identify the photo context, while the title, pack format, stock status, and current listing details define what is being offered.

How are international live-fish orders handled?

International orders can involve professional transshippers and destination-specific arrangements. Timing, weather, route, quantity, and applicable live-arrival terms should be reviewed before ordering.
